Yo,
wuz in Da Player?
1 - Title track for our 8th record.
People have mentioned they like this one. Seems like an appropriate
opener for the megamix.
2 - From "Welcome...", an ode
to old WW.
3 - From "Slugs". YES!
4 - A scorcher off the "Bad Vibrations"
record.
5 - An old chestnut from the "Animals"
slab that's fun to jam.
6 - Wrap up track from "The Rabbit"
7 - The iconic jam off "Slugs"
8 - Our illustrious and radical friends from Sleepfeeder
put together this cover of Devil Worship for a seldom-heard Terry
Turtle Tribute record.
9 - Terry contributed this classic song to the 2008
OCP Christmas album. More info if you click.
10 - Rom B is solo B.
Brat. This is an unreleased Iggy cover.
11 - "Amateurs"
is the first collaboration song BG has ever done. Tim
Greene of US
Christmas infamy once played drums in a local Big Band organized
for some reason I forget now. This was back in the 80s. He made me
a cd with the track and some other old recordings on it and mentioned
that BG should try jamming overtop the big band track. "It would
be wild."
This is a prime example of why there will never be anyone else in
Buck Gooter. It's a funny track.
12 - Jay Zehr
wrote this song for some reason. Thanks Jay. It's Featured on the
credits of What
Da Hell? A Film about Buck Gooter.
13 - From The Rabbit, this track
has turned
a few heads towards my ears afterwards that said it was interesting.
On the album it dips in sound. Perhaps noticably? We had trouble recording
this one, should've done another version but we're Buck Gooter! We
shoot from the hip, worry later!
14 - Thought it'd be fun to put up a live version, from the 100th
show. Recorded by the venerable Jim
Nipe. WOWZA.
15 - A few people have asked why The Rabbit
shows up in their Itunes as having "9 out of 10" songs.
Well, I originally wanted to include this fun little flub up bonus
hidden track thing on the end but it didn't pass the final cut. But
it made it online anyway!
16 - FLIES!!
from our 10th album RAT
ON!!. Keep on Buzzin'!
17 - Title Track from RAT
ON!! That's Brian Wilson at the end there yammering on about theremins.
Only parts where he mentions Good Vibes and the Beach Boys were edited
out. BONKERS!
18 - Our dearest brothers-at-arms in LA
MERE VIPERE surprised the hell out of us by covering this track
from The Rabbit. They sure know how
to make grown men cry! I believe this was recorded by THEE jerkonfire.
19 - Flatten the planet... again!? Yes, well, this is from the RAT
ON!! sessions with Nyal Cline. Different from the other two right?
RIGHT!
20 - Live track from a recently surfaced bootleg from the illustrious
Killing Floor. Multitrack recording by Tom Devlin III, 1.31.09. ("Sausagefest
'09"). Thanks Tom!
21 - A live
track from a gig in Hattiesburg, MS 8/27/09. This got cut from the
Buck Gooter Live cassette. Damn!
22 - Live @ The Little Grill, 8/01/09. OK!
Keep it parked
here for future additions to the BG music player (live trax, oddities,
dead trax, etc).
Hell, we've got a gig of free space to use! Door's open boys!
